PRIDE Pet Pageant and Parade
Join us for a vibrant celebration of love, diversity, and furry friends at the PRIDE Pet Pageant and Parade! This event is designed to be a fun, interactive experience for pets, their owners, and the community showcasing creativity and community spirit.
Things to know about the event:
- Registration is required for pets to participate in this event! If you are attending without a pet, no registration is required! Register your pet using the form on this page by June 6th to secure a spot!
Entry Fee: No entry fees but filling out a registration form is required! In lieu of entry fees we encourage you to bring donations for a local animal adoption/fostering agency including any of the following: 💵 Money, 🍖 Food, 🐾 Treats, 🎾 Toys, 🛏 Blankets & Towels

Here's what to look forward to:
Pet Pageant: Watch as pets strut their stuff on the runway, competing in various categories such as Cutest Pet, Most Creative Costume, Proudest Pet (Pride Wear). Your pet(s) may enter 1, 2 or all 3 categories.
Parade: Join the colorful parade where pets and their owners can show off their pride with themed outfits and decorations the parade will loop from The Historic Sharpe House Pasture Stage to the square in Downtown Statesville and back.
Interactive Activities: Participate in fun activities, vendors, Dragon Dogs Hot Dog Cart, and an animal adoption booth throughout the day.
How to Participate:
If you want to show off your pet be sure to register them before June 6th here.
Dress Code: Be creativity! Outfits can be themed around pride, love, or anything that showcases your pet’s personality.
Show up and enjoy the event, we need spectators!
